Location

• Perth metro stores (primary base store to be confirmed) – daily travel to customer sites across Perth metro required

About the Role

This is a primarily field-based role focused on the installation, servicing and maintenance of pool equipment, plus on-site customer support. You will spend the majority of your time on the road completing scheduled installations, service call-outs and pool maintenance jobs. When there are quieter periods or urgent store needs, you will assist in-store with sales, water testing and customer service.

Field Installation & Service (Primary Focus)

• Install new pool equipment including pumps, filters, salt/mineral chlorinators, gas/electric/solar heaters, robotic cleaners, automation systems, lights and controllers
• Perform scheduled and call-out servicing, repairs and troubleshooting on all of the above equipment
• Attend on-site service jobs to diagnose and fix issues (e.g., pump not priming, chlorinator errors, heater faults, automation problems, leaks, etc.)
• Carry out on-site pool cleans (vacuuming, filter cleans, equipment backwashes, minor tile/glass bead cleaning)
• Conduct full water testing at customers’ homes, balance chemicals and provide clear advice and recommendations
• Complete equipment commissioning, programming and customer handovers
• Accurately complete digital job cards, before/after photos and customer sign-offs via company tablet/app
• Load/unload and maintain stock levels in the company van

In-Store Support (When Required)

• Assist in-store during quieter periods or when rostered: water testing, sales, merchandising, click-and-collect, phone enquiries
• Upsell chemicals, spare parts and accessories to in-store customers
• Help maintain store presentation and stock levels Safety & Compliance
• Strictly follow all WA Pool Warehouse OHS policies, chemical handling and manual handling procedures
• Always wear correct PPE and keep the work vehicle and tools clean and organised
• Complete daily vehicle and equipment safety checks Systems & Administration
• Use company phone, tablet and software strictly for work purposes (job bookings, customer communication, timesheets, payroll)
• Update all jobs in real-time so stores and customers are kept fully informed
• Log water test results, parts used and recommendations accurately

About You – Essential Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in pool equipment installation/servicing OR strong trade background (plumbing, electrical, refrigeration/air-con, spa technician, etc.)
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Physically fit – regular lifting of 20–25 kg+, working outdoors in Perth heat, bending, kneeling and ladder work
• Outstanding customer service – polite, punctual and professional in customers’ homes
• Current manual WA driver’s licence (essential – you will drive a fully equipped company van)
• Current National Police Clearance (or able to obtain)
• Construction White Card (or willing to obtain immediately)
• Comfortable with smartphones/tablets and learning new apps

• Factory training certificates on leading pool brands (Zodiac, AstralPool, Pentair, Hayward, etc.)
• Strong pool water chemistry knowledge
• Previous pool cleaning or service van experience
